Sunday, August 11th will mark the end of my term as President of the Mariner Class Association. I served two two-year consecutive terms from 2010-2014, and then again from 2020-2024. It has been a sincere pleasure to be at the helm of the Association, and I’m happy to stay on the Executive Board and slide back into my previous role of Webmaster.
My friend Steve Hock will be taking over the Presidency, and I’m really happy for him. I’ll still be handling organizing the Rendezvous - for now - but it will be nice to take a back seat and concentrate on the Association’s website as well as this one. I have really enjoyed working with so many great people as a Board member since 2009, and I’m looking forward to this new chapter. I hope I have made some small contribution in the life of the Association.
