1986 Stuart Mariner Flyer

After Rebel Industries discontinued its short run of Spindrift Mariners from 1980-1983, the molds were once again up for sale.  Stuart Scharaga, having recently started his small-boat building company right on Route 1 in Rockport, Maine, jumped at the chance to acquire the Mariner molds and the molds of her older sister, the Rhodes 19.

Stuart Marine went back to a single porthole on either side of the cabin and, besides making a few minor adjustments and improvements here and there, retained the original O'Day design.
